I’m going to Utah next month and need to print some spare parts in case I crash the cage. any parts that I can 3d print, even if they’re not strong enough like the hoop connectors to do in a temporary situation, I’d like to have laying around. I’ll flying all over and will be in a camper van so I might not have access to just order new parts.
Frame bought in 2024 I believe
I’ve reprinted the frame connectors with mods to attach a cage extension. I have successfully printed them in PTEG material, using the bolt through the connector significantly improved its breaking strength. I feel confident in them as I’ve attempted to bench break samples and they are very tough to break.
cool, willing to share the files?
Go back and check this thread, I published the STL files there. New SP140 V2.5 test flight - Builds - OpenPPG Community
do you have the original files or do I have to contact @Pdwhite
@Pdwhite I leave in 5 days… hoping to print something before I leave so I’m not stranded if something breaks! please expedite this
You can see all the 3d files on the OpenPPG Github; it’s all public GitHub - openppg/sp140-hardware: CAD drawings for OpenPPG SP140 frame, power pack, etc
