SP140 flight-times / different Gliders

I was able to get my sixth flight this afternoon on the SP, a bit chilly at 55F (45F landed) and seeing how this was the coldest temperature I’ve flown in I stayed close by just in case the battery voltage fell off. My throttle gauge reads 3v lower than actual when plugging in a freshly charged battery, so starting voltage readout was 97v and “Red” indicated zone was hit at 78v under a 6.2 kw battery load. This was an indicated 14% battery percentage remaining, I didn’t have a “hard cutoff” but I landed immediately so as to avoid a “motor out” forced landing. The battery recovered to 84v when I checked it this morning before charging it back to the 86 v storage charge.

Here’s my setup:
Openppg batch #2 (triblade prop)
4 kwh battery - 8 charge cycles
AUW - 132 kg. (Reserve included)
Ozone Spyder wing 28m (95-160kg.)(2nd.flt.) (4yrs. old)
LZ - 2800’ MSL

My previous flights were in 70+ temps and flown 35 minutes only using 2.6 kWh on my Niviuk Hook 5 28m PG wing.

Happy flying and happy Thanksgiving to all.
