World Record with SP 140 High Altidude!

I want to ask because I’m confused, they state “altitude” that is ASL…
So, he took off in Leadville which is at 10.158 feet (3096m), known as the highest city in USA, and went up to the altitude of 4489m, minus 3096=1393m AGL.
That’s great but I remember that someone here stated he went 2000m with the 3.7kw battery then glided back down. And Robert from Fly high paramotors has an youtube video with his SP140 to 5250feet-1600m in Florida.
Did they meant 4489m height? Or am I missing something…

There is an altitude gain of around 1400 meters, that’s right. It is a world record for the reason that no EPPG pilot has ever shown with Sport FAI witnesses (on the ground) that he was at a certain altitude of 4489 meters above sea level with an EPPG. This is all correct in the sense of a fair record. Of course, many pilots have flown much higher above the ground with an E-PPG. we know this. I did this myself in 2017…
