I got a 12-port lug connector thing and chopped it into 3-part sections to put between the motor and ESC. No idea how it will fare but we shall see. It sure was a piece of cake compared to soldering them up. Those motor wires are short and ornery.
Just make sure you check them periodically in preflight. they can come loose with vibration.
Good point… and keep in mind that carbon is an electrical conductor so a loose connection can be catastrophic if it touches carbon.
