Ah, overthought it - thanks.
This does answer a few questions about contra-rotating propellers particularly the noise aspect - it’s loud. Particularly so with a pair of pairs. He seems to attribute the noise to the ducting but I don’t think that’s the case. Would be cool if he could get some data to compare it to the X4.
It would also be interesting to see if he experiments with swapping the props and motor directions so that the pairs on each side run in the same direction but retain the torque cancelling side-to-side.
