I see several posts about mounting lightweight trikes to SP140 frames, but possibly only one person that has flown one (based on Colibri trike). After starting my PPG training, I quickly realized that my old knees were not going to hold up to foot launch and I will complete my training using a trike. But I am still very interested in the SP140, especially the new V2 frame. But I know I need to mount a light trike to it for my use. Anyone have any up to date information or success stories using Colibri, Retracta, or similar light trikes with the SP140? Thanks.
I visited Eric DuFour last year at his flight ranch near Jasper, Florida, and he had an SP140 mounted on a trike if my memory serves me correctly. Eric is a real asset to our sport and has a wealth of knowledge. You might give him a call and tell him what you are looking for.
