Sp140 training day-1

Last weekend

Hey Voltair. Between 5:30 and 6 min he powers off the unit, then powers it back up without unplugging the battery and plugging it back in. I was under the impression that was not possible. So, how did you make that work?

Plugging the battery does not arm the motor - it will put the SP in standby mode with a single beep heard once in a while. It can stay like that while the pilot gets ready. Then he will double tap the controller to arm the motor. Double tap again to disarm the motor. Disconnecting the battery turns everything OFF.

Possibly I’m confused on this. Somehow I got the impression that once you double tap to disarm you cannot rearm until you first unplug and plug back in. I’ll have to remove my prop and experiment with it.

You can double tap to arm and disarm as many times as you want to, without disconnecting the battery.

Thx for the info. I was confusing disarming and rearming with the BMS cut off.
