SP140 over the marsh

An overcast day in Mosquito Alley with the SP

When you say that landing in the marsh would be a disaster, do you just mean an unpleasant walk/trudge back? Or equipment damage or safety concerns?

Bogged down to the waist in mud and salt water. Wherever you see beautiful greenery is the case. And that does not account for the gazillions of chiggers, ticks an mosquitoes looking for a meal. It would be impossible to walk in the muddy mess even without the motor on one’s back especially at high tide. The dredge lines flooding the marsh are for mosquito control to let the tide in and out, preventing pools of stagnant waters to form where larvae would develop.
Not a friendly place for a motor out, but we do not have much choice site-wise around here.
