Have just wondered how many have had issues where the rivets are on the cage hoops? I suggested instead of putting these on the outside of the cage where they can snag the paraglider lines on forward launch, why not put the rivets on the inside of the cage hoop? this may save them from catching the paraglider lines on take off and not cutting them…

From what I can see on the OpenPPG website, they added this modification for SP140 Batch 3 that will be released this spring :
That picture hasn’t been updated as far as I know so it’s batch 1. Since the rivets are done by hand not every hoop is the same but we’re certainly cognisant of forward launching and snags. I’ve never had a problem with any of hoops.
