Painting Frame to to add to my vanity :>)

Anyone out there have experience painting CF
I want to paint mine orange - I know it will add a little weight but I love the orange of my Kangook and want to carry that over.

If you haven’t already use a light coat of spray paint. It should bind to the epoxy. you can try real light coat of automotive primer too.
I’ve had luck spray painting over Fiberglass patches on the bottom of a motorcycle gas tank before. it didn’t flake or scratch off easily. I used a gray automotive primer and automotive paint.
just dont get the “filler primer” as that stuff is thicker.
if the CF has a glossy finish lightly sand it with 400 or 800 or 1000 grit paper for more surface area. use a sanding block to keep the flat surface.

Thanks - I have kinda given up on the idea for now. Will be picking it up soon but will leave it unpainted.
