which is the official iOS BMS app? Link?

For the V1 or V2.5 battery?

It’s ANT BMS for the newer v2.5 batteries and SMART BMS for the older v1 batteries.

For me (German language set in iOS), I got the ANT-BMS-app in Mandarin. The language can be changed here:

I found the SMART BMS app to be really clunky… and I’m pretty sure its sending some telemetry off to some server somewhere. So I made a really simple web-based app (its a single html file, no data leaves your phone, laptop, whatever) – BLE Bat

We are currently developing an official OpenPPG app designed to seamlessly integrate with both your battery packs and paramotor. This app will include features such as storage charging, in-flight alerts, and more.

It is currently in beta testing; if you are interested in joining the testing group, you can sign up here: OpenPPG App Beta | OpenPPG. We are launching on Android first, with the iOS version to follow shortly after.

Here are some screenshots of the BMS side of things. It’s got full system control, OTA and a lot of other cool stuff.

I don’t know, but so far I haven’t been able to connect with my unit. That made me think that I needed an account…

It’s problematic when 50% is written in mandarin So I don’t need an account maybe?:thinking:

I was in the wrong version, got connected in the Bt ver. And here everything written in English and a little easier to read :blush::sweat_smile:

The iOS app store has two versions “ANT BMS” and “ANT BMS V2”. Should we just use the “ANT BMS” version for now until the new OpenPPG app is released?

They’re not really the same versions, but yeah, you can use the BMS v2 app to just connect to the battery pack. You won’t be able to log or update any information from there, but iOS is in the works and will be out soon here.

The Android app is now officially available publicly for anybody to download, so you can download it here if you’re on Android.

Apple is super slow, so it’s just going through their bureaucracy currently. I’ll let you know when it’s available to test out.

I’m an app dev myself, I know it can take 1-2 weeks for the first review with Apple
