I upgraded the first SP140 Batch-1 produced with the new battery. Had to made a few small mods but it worked out great and actually feels better on my back weight distribution-wise than with the hold 1/2 hour model which died on me recently.
I have not tried it yet and am waiting for the weather to cooperate - next week I hope😃
Curious what mods (other than the Anderson connectors) did you have to make? Any programming or just the connections? I’m considering buying a 2nd battery and also have the V1 from batch 3. Thanks! Looks good.
None related to electronics. I already had upgraded the connectors in the past to Anderson(s) - charger/ESC/battery and inverter. I had to mess around a bit and fill in the gaps between the front/rear walls of the battery with the velour side of a 2" wide sticky strip. Worked perfectly! I also had to secure the battery bottom padding in place with two zip ties - drilled two holes through the soft material, pretty simple to do.
Overall it was smooth procedure😀
