Ah, interesting. @zjwhitehead have you had this issue or heard of it from others? Not ideal during flight to have a reboot.
Re: arming sequence… I don’t mind the new one but I think the hold is too long. I liked the double click because I can quickly disarm right as I am landing for safety reasons (fall causing full throttle press or similar).
Did we confirm that at a certain voltage we are now getting a power throttling instead of a hard cut?
@zjwhitehead, Had the reboot happen again just before a flight. I plugged in the full battery, did the arm sequence, and it immediately rebooted. Worked fine after that but it’s pretty un-nerving to say the least. I’ll try and find time to plug in again today and see what happens. This is with the latest firmware on everything.
@zjwhitehead, I just tried to reproduce the reboot by plugging in, arming, disarming, chill, sport, cruise, version screen, trying all the modes at least 5 times through each and no reboot. I then tried to wiggle every cable, yanking hard, pulling every direction on the throttle side of the cable as well as the ESC plugs. Nothing, no reboot, all is well. The only difference between now and the last two reboots is my battery is at 55% and those times it was 99%. Not sure how that would matter, but just a variable that is different. Not sure what else to try but I’ll update if it happens again.
@Harza, have you had it happen to you since the last time?
thank you for mentioning your surface was causing the problem. I was trying for an hour to do this with my surface 8 and couldn’t get dfuse to recognize the ESC. I switched to a dell when I saw your note and now it works. thanks!
