Minimum battery voltage for launch?

Hi all,

I’m currently training with my SP140 and the 1-hour battery. Training, as you know, benefits from multiple launches and landings in one session.

How can I decide when my battery is too low to safely launch again and do a lap or two around the pattern? I don’t want the battery to cut off when I’m on climb out and 40 feet above the ground. Especially considering voltage sag when under high loads.

Thank you!

Scott

I usually land when i see around 75v.

Ok, thank you! What’s the lowest voltage you would launch with?

Maybe around 80v if i just was practicing takeoff and landings and not flying long. But going to baby the throttle then.

Got it. Thank you. That gives me rough idea of when I’m pushing the boundaries.
