Is a DIY pack cost effective today?

I used Lexan to cover another battery project I did a few years ago for some headway batteries. I just used a 2x4 piece of wood and a heatgun to form it this battery, got me thinking to use it again.
Did a little AI search::
'Yes, Lexan (a brand name for polycarbonate) is considered fire-resistant. It’s not just fire-resistant, but also flame retardant and self-extinguishing when the flame source is removed. This makes it suitable for applications where fire safety is a concern."

Hi,
Regarding DIY battery Pack, It seems that the new 21700 P50B cells are very interesting in term of power density and life (5000 mAh), compared to P45B. Of course, a little bite expensive than P45B. Do you think, it’s a good option?

At this point in time - Im liking the AmpAce JP40
Check out Coolwatts testing
Unfortunately they are hard to find.
