For me it was impossible to connect using the SmartBMS app. Nothing showed up neither in iOS system bluetooth nor in the app.
When I used the ANT BMS‑App – App Store AntBMS-app, I was able to connect and by luck also able to switch the apps language from simplified Chinese to English 
What am I doing wrong with SmartBMS on iOS?
