Cracked screen in throttle

my SP140 throttle still works, I just can’t read anything on it.
Has anyone just replaced the screen? I may have to get a new one, but thought it’d be worth asking if the screen can be sourced separately.

If you feel confident at changing a screen here’s what you can do
Open the case and accurately measure the size of lcd screen
Order new screen

Ok to change the screen
Treat the work area like a surgeons table
Worth wiping down bench to reduce dust particles
You’ll find a frame or clamp system that locks the screen to two electroconductive pads which run down the length on each side of the screen
Note there exact position
Remove screen carefully
If the electrocunductive pads come away with the screen don’t worry
Replace the pads in the same orientation and position make sure conductive pads on the circuit board are clean from any broken glass from damage screen
Place new lcd on top with any protective film removed
Refix clamp system be it tape or metal surround
Test unit
You should find the lcd has returned to normal with a fully viable display

Refit external case and use as normal

LCD screens can be easily found either from the original manufacturer or several internet shops

If your display is wired
Even easier to change but hard to source
Open case
Disconnect wire connect carefully
Remove screen carefully
Refit new screen and connect back up
Refit case and test

If you don’t feel confident at doing this send back to manufacturer and get them to do it
Check the cost of the repair first sometimes the repair cost can be more than a new unit

Hope this helps

You should direct message OpenPPG and ask for what you need.

The screen itself is the same as this part

However, like @GliderPilot said, just reach out to us and we can work with you to get a replacement.
The hard part is soldering that ribbon cable.
