Connecting hand controller to OpenPPG App

Having trouble connecting/pairing the hand controller to the OpenPPG App. Is there a simple method for this? It says press and hold the red button for 15 seconds until the controller vibrates. The battery is connected and switched on, but it doesn’t connect or pair to the android phone OpenPPG App.

Here’s a little video I just made showing the process let me know kind of where you’re getting stuck.

Make sure your Bluetooth is on and make sure your hand controller is updated to the latest version.

Also got to make sure your app permissions are all granted too.

Many thanks Paul. I followed your steps and discovered I was still on the older version and not 8.0. Connected and working now! Thank you for the short video. Much appreciated.
