I have a hybrid Toyota Sienna. It has 1500 watt AC outlets. Is it safe to charge the Open PPG V2 battery by plugging in to the Sienna’s outlet? Is there a risk of damage to the vehicle? And if it’s okay to do this, any idea how long charging would take? Thanks!
The SP140 charger is a 1000-watt charger, so it should be fine if your Sienna can output 1500 watts. Depending on the battery size you are charging, with the 2.6 kWh battery it will take around 2.5 hours, and for the 4.8 kWh battery, it will take around 4–5 hours if it’s completely discharged to start.
