I am assuming that air travel with these batteries is a complete non-starter… that no commercial airline will allow them in luggage. Is that true?
If so, what about shipping ahead of time for a trip? Can this be done? How about internationally?
No way you can take these on a plane, 492Wh is way over the limit of 100Wh.
You can ship, would need to be done via courier dangerous goods, and considering they weigh ~10kg for 4, it’d probably be 200-500$ depending on where you’re shipping them to.
Not an easy problem to solve unfortunately.
