The electric paramotor helped me see from above something that fascinates me since a kid, a volcano crater!
We visit the Saint Ana lake for years, being the only volcano lake in the country and mostly during autumn because of the incredible colours especialy on the road to the lake and around it.
Never thought I would see it from above!
Last autumn my eppg was finished and I thought, why not bring it to the lake trip. What a great decision it was. Everything went smooth. We arrived and I assembled the eppg, was ready to fly around 10am. I was a little nervous that was almost noon and there were 32kmh winds anounced, luckily towards the mountain not from it. But the winds haven’t started during my flight so It was great.
I had to go 3km straight and climb 570m to get above the volcano lip.
When I arrived and saw the lake I was like wow! It was so much lower than I thought like a patch of water on the botom of a well.
