I bought a X4 unit in 2019, and upgraded to the SP140 in 2023. In 6 years of flying at various sites across Japan, I have not yet met another OpenPPG user.
Is anyone else flying OpenPPG in Japan??
Don’t have an OpenPPG with me, but I’m in Japan currently flying with local friends near Izu/Fuji. Tomorrow looks crappy, but we’re planning to fly Sunday. Don’t know how your Japanese is, the English is pretty minimal aside from me, but these guys are para-nuts and would love to see an electric motor.

Without sharing too much, I can confirm we’ve shipped a handful of SP140s to various parts of Japan over the last few years (besides yours @8bit-Dude ) so hopefully you’re able to fly with some of those pilots.

On Sunday I am planning to fly in fairly close by Hiratsuka with Kirii-san.
I have been in Japan 17 years, so Japanese no problem.
